Ibis Angoulême Nord

A somewhat functional Ibis, bedrooms fairly small. However clean, very comfy bed and pillow! Shower OK, shower head needs descaling otherwise everything I needed. Good WiFi. Parking right outside the building. Staff great. The highlight was the excellent breakfast, lots of choice and as to some other Ibis locations they use local produce, really lovely cheese, bread yoghurt etc. Very good value. Useful overnight stop location and I would use again.

Met by lovely friendly receptionist, it was a very hot day and was offered complementary cold drink and coffee on tap. Room was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Nothing to complain about 😁

Overall value for money. Receptionist was excellent, serving us with drinks in the bar shortly after arrival.

It was good for our one night stop on the way south, plenty of parking, we had a short walk to Au Bureau restaurant which was good, we would use it again for a stopover.
